Areas such as Benavista/El Paraiso are both very popular for families for residential living and for holiday homes. Golf on The New Golden Mile
A fairly green area due to the golf courses and many pine-tree protected areas. Benavista offers a large commercial area with chemist, banks, 3 supermarkets and 20 bars/restaurants. The beach, from lower Benavista and Paraiso, is approx 15mins walk.

Across the road (N340) are the areas of Benamara and Paraiso Baja (officially called Paraiso Barronal). Again these are very popular with residents and holiday homes due to the excellent sandy beaches and local amenities. There are a number of front-line beach luxury villas making this area very exclusive.

The New Golden Mile - El Presidente and Venalmar
Two of the most popular urbanisations in this area are El Presidente offering apartments in a community made up by half holiday home owners and half permanent residents and Venalmar which is a private small beachfront development consisting of townhouses and apartments, again very residential in an upmarket location.

All these areas are located less than 5 minutes to the popular town of San Pedro, 10 minutes to Puerto Banus and 15 minutes to Marbella and Estepona.
